摘要:
高校教育具有专业教育与通识教育的区分。前者负责专业知识技能的培养,不具有文 化的差异; 后者负责人文素养的培养,具有文化的差异。近代工业革命以来,专业知识技能的 需求量越来越大,而人文素养的培养逐渐不被人所重视。中国高校教育也出现重专业技能而 轻文化素养的弊病。如果说专业知识技能作为中西方共同遵循的现代性规则,中国高校可以 照搬学习; 那么人文素养则具有不同的文化差异,中国高校无法照搬学习。中国高校人文素 养的培养,需要从中国优秀传统文化尤其是儒家文化中寻求资源,打开一条高校通识教育建设 的古典路径。在儒学文化中,绝对精神与主体精神的合一,构造了人的德性,开展出道德教育; 客观精神与主观精神的协调,构造了社会的公私领域,开展出公民教育; 取象精神的生成与发 用,构筑了人的意义世界,开展出美学教育。上述精神统一于自由精神中,在自由心灵的自我 选择与实践中而得以成就理想人格与美好生活。
Abstract:
There is a distinction between professional education and general education in higher education.The former is responsible for the cultivation of professional knowledge and skills,without cultural differences; the latter is responsible for the cultivation of humanistic literacy,with cultural differences.Since the modern industrial revolution,the demand for professional knowledge and skills has been increasing,while the cultivation of humanistic literacy has gradually been ignored.Chinese higher education also has the disadvantages of attaching importance to professional skills rather than cultural literacy.If professional knowledge and skills are the modern rules followed by both China and the West,Chinese colleges and universities can copy or imitate; however,humanistic literacy has different cultural differences,it cannot be copied or imitated.The cultivation of humanistic literacy in Chinese universities needs to seek resources from Chinese excellent traditional culture,especially Confucian culture,and open up a classical path for the construction of general education in Colleges and universities.In Confucian culture,the integration of absolute spirit and subjective spirit constructs human virtue and develops moral education; the coordination of objective spirit and subjective spirit constructs the public and private spheres of society and develops civic education; the generation and development of image-taking spirit constructs the meaning world of human beings and develops aesthetic education.The above spirit is unified in the spirit of freedom,and achieves ideal personality and good life in the self-choice and practice of the free mind.
